State Return Prints "jibberish"

When I print my North Carolina return, there is no format to it, just the numbers strewn across the page in rows and columns.  What do I do to get a more representative copy of my state tax form?

Thank you,

When you view the return prior to printing, does it appear normal?

Also which type of device are you viewing the return from prior to printing?

If the PDF appears normal when viewed on screen...

1)  one year, some folks found that printing a page at at a time worked..

2) another time, some people had to use the Printer Properties on the popup page that started the print process, and select "Print as Image"

OF course, the First page IS mostly just numbers and columns in a format that can be scanned by NC tax staff...if you happen to file by mail  (name address etc in the following are phony/made-up)
