1) Does the state of Georgia require the executor of an estate to file form 501 electronically?
2) TurboTax Business is asking for the "Executor's five-position PIN number" for electronic filing of Georgia form 501. Does anyone know how to obtain this PIN number?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
The instructions are at the bottom of Form 501 and, it appears, that you do not need file electronically unless you are claiming certain credits.

You might have to contact the Georgia DOR to get information on obtaining a 5-digit PIN (if you actually need one).

I got past this by typing 12345 in the box and the submission of the return went through. I'll see in a couple of days if it was accepted.
I sent a query to GA Revenue Department and they replied that this is NOT a requirement in GA. TT never asked for it in the questions either. It didn't appear until the last second audit.
