Montana standard deduction overwriting desired itemized deductions

I am having this same issue. I choose itemized deductions as my federal tax is more than the standard deduction and it has my federal tax information on the form but still gives me the standard deduction. I have gone in and out several times and get the same result. When I go into the form it self I try to select itemized and it does not allow me to change it there. So I go back into the turbo tax where it asks me if I want to itemize and I select yes and it walks me through everything and still shows me as a standard deduction. I also made sure my turbo tax is up to date. So frustrating.

@Im1899 you should start a new question. Are you MFS, MFJ, Single, etc.
If you are MFS you are required to do what your spouse does.
I would need a lot more details.
Is this in the Fed return only?
