Married & first time homeowners in 2019. We live in AL (taxed state), we both have $ from GA (tax withheld) and my husband has $ from FL (no tax withheld). What do we do?

FIRST complete GA tax return as a non-resident, THEN complete the AL tax return; AL will give you a credit for what you paid to GA so important to complete GA before AL.  FL does not have state income taxes, so nothing to complete for FL.

Thank you, I have a follow-up question, though. Will either state attempt to tax my husband's FL income?

If you were an Alabama resident for all of 2019, then you report all income received on the Alabama state tax return, regardless of the source of the income, for both you and your spouse when filing a joint tax return.
