Kentucky State Tax Error

I was able to complete and e-file Ky and Federal as well. Now, just waiting to see if they’re both accepted.

My federal was accepted last night right after I filed and this morning I received an email indicating the KY state was accepted.

Mine was.  Someone from TurboTax called me because I complained everywhere about the KY e-file issue.  She was supposed to call back when I got home at 4:30pm yesterday afternoon to make sure the tax advisor walked me through the correction.  She never called back and I began using another company's software and I noticed someone on this discussion board got their KY return to e-file so I decided to give TT one more chance.  It worked and I got confirmation KY and federal are accepted.

I submitted a question on this also. I recently saw other replies that they had success e-filing and the GLITCH was fixed. I just tried e-filing again, but it wouldn't let me...I had to make a phone call to a sales rep which was totally frustrating, trying to get through to anybody....finally, after a 20 minute phone call, it was filed and I received a confirming email stating that.

I was able to efile around 6:30pm last night with no problem .. The glitch was gone .. But almost 24 hours later the irs has not accepted my return .. I am still pending .. It has never taken this long maybe a few hours at the most …

Are we supposed to call ourselves or did you get the feeling that the problem had been resolved?

When I tried e-filing, I had a page come up that gave me a phone# to call because my e-file was unsuccessful.  It did not mention the original error about caregiver EIN numbers

I e-filed my Kentucky tax today 2/10/2022 AFTER I installed the TTAX update released overnight.  It worked perfectly and I got notification it was accepted by the state.  Problem solved on the date originally promised last week.

I was able to file my Ky state today with no problem after I downloaded the updates from TT.  So, I believe it’s been resolved with the new download.  Just ticks me off that they still charged to file my state after all this mess!!

Should be fixed with yesterday's update.  If you are using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions then you need to update your software to the latest release.  Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen and then click on Check for Updates.

It has been fixed.  When you log back into your account, there will be an update.  Just follow the prompts.

Got back in TurboTax today, downloaded updates and all is well. I efiled my Ky state return today...

Since this error is occurring with no proposed date to be fixed, can we efile our federal now, and once the error is fixed efile our state?
