I am having the same issue. I do not have any dependents and made sure to specify that in the form. I spoke with customer support, and they were very friendly and helpful. This is a known issue and is expected to be resolved around 2/10. TurboTax should automatically update every time you log out and log back in.
Yes, I was given option to mail, also. But I already paid to E-FILE STATE & FEDERAL My federal already ACCEPTED by IRS
I am having same issue. I have tried contacting turbo tax but am getting no help. Guess if not fixed I'll have to use another company. Been with turbo tax for over 10 years. Oh well

I have the same error issue with Kentucky State Tax. I also hope they find a way to fix this.......we are a multitude of users!!!!!

Precisely! It’s not like this is some knock off tax brand. They’re TurboTax for goodness sakes! They ought have a full-time team of programmers that should be able to fix this quicker than they are. Some people are complaining that they don’t wanna pay to electronically file their taxes when they’re not allowed to electronically file the state one. I’m certainly not gonna pay for something I don’t get to use.
Thank you for the update that you got from them. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why it would take almost a week to sort this problem out. The 10th is Thursday for goodness sake’s. I started having this problem on Friday.
They need to take the “solved“ off of the top of that post. I’ve been having this issue since Friday. And someone else said they spoke with a representative & they said it would be fixed around the 10th. That’s Thursday. Which means this problem will have been going on for almost a week. This is TurboTax for goodness sake‘s! You would think they would have a team of programmers at any given moment to fix this issue. 🤦🏼♀️
Yep! And it’s just going to get worse and worse as more and more people start to file this month.
Telling us to just mail them in is lazy. Especially when if I’m paying to have both state and federal electronically filed, I’m not paying for something that I’m not gonna get to use if I have to mail the state one in.
