Kentucky State Tax Error

Please let us know when this has been fixed. I’d like to electronic file asap. Thanks

I'm also having the same issue. I've filed with TurboTax for the past three years and this issue has never come up.

Last night I spent an hour on the phone with support and he directed me to go into my forms and delete Form 2441 (Child and Dependent Care Expenses). I don't have a child, so obviously I didn't have this form to delete.

After that he asks me "You don't have a kid?" and I said no. And then he says "Uhhhh what about last year?" as if I had a kid and it just disappeared lol. And then his grand solution was "Uhhhhhhhhh... Go to 'Tools' and hit 'Clear & Start Over.'" And at that point I just said "Yep. Okay, thanks for your help. Sure, I'll fill out the dumb survey," and hung up.

Today I tried to file my taxes TWO more times and the same thing happened again. When the error message comes up, there aren't any options to correct this. This is seriously ridiculous lol. I'm 24, single, and have never had a child or a dependent so I have NO idea where this is coming from. I've reread the question in the beginning about whether or not I have dependents like 10 times before answering it, just in case I'm missing something here.

Venting about my own stupid issue because I'm hoping we get a solution soon. My advice for now: Invest in ibuprofen. My stress headache over this is unreal. 

When will the issue be resolved regarding the EIN required for child tax credit.  I do not have children and this pop up is preventing me from e-filing my KY state taxes.  I have been trying to file them for over a week now.  I have used Turbo Tax for many years and this has never happened.  I will not use them next year.

Having same issue in Texas...asking for Letter 6419 Information Smart Worksheet for child tax credit. 

Returns that do not have SSN or EIN for each dependent care provider are not eligible for electronic filing  is the error I am getting like the others on this forum.  This is not my tax situation.
