Where do I send my Illinois state return to?

I go to ups to send this to have it tracked & they said what is the complete address, how do they know where exactly to send it

I have this same problem

Sending via UPS in Germany

They ask for a street address

I'm not sure what to do

explaining in broken German that the department is so big that it doesn't need a street address is futile - and if you know Germany, the rules say you need a street address.  and a blank street address is against the rules.  so no go.

What street address should be used??

I thought of making it up

PO BOX 62719

or making the street be:  Springfield 62719

but I'm not sure that will fly

What's the best way to be sure?!

No, do not make up the address.  I'll tell you 2 ways to contact the Illinois DOR to ask them for the physical  street address that they they use for private delivery services such as UPS.

If you can phone from your country, you will find a contact phone number at the Illinois DOR website.   You may not be able to use 800 numbers, but it also shows a 217 number.

Since you may not be able to phone them,  I'll tell you how you can submit a question in a webform to the Illinois DOR asking for an exact street address that they they use for private delivery services such as UPS.   

This link is for the "questions and comment form" at the Illinois Dept. of Revenue.  Fill it out, and they should email you a response.  You may wish to tell them if you have a payment or not, in case it makes a difference.

There are two separate addresses listed in the 2019 Illinois Individual Income Tax Instruction Booklet.  The address you use depends on whether you are expecting a refund or enclosing a payment.
