I earned income from my single employer in North Carolina (resident) and Idaho (non-resident). The W2 allocated taxable income and withheld state taxes based on a beginning-of-year estimate of time in each state, but the actual time in each state was different than the estimate. When determining Idaho state income in the Turbotax as screen appeared asking me to enter Federal income and Idaho income tax(or something like that), but there were no boxes to enter numbers and nothing to click or do, other than continue (which took the entries as zero, and that is not right).
Am I doing this wrong. Or does the state of Idaho module have a bug? Where would I report a possible bug?

I found the entry you are referring to and it did allow me to enter. I would like to take a deeper look at this. However, I need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

So, I just opened the sanitized file and started walking through the Idaho entries and the page came up normally like I thought it should.
So, I went back to my tax file and started through the Idaho entries, and it also appears to be working. I will continue on and come back crying if it doesn't work. This is similar to a different problem I had with this same thing (allocating income to two states) a couple years and I never got it fixed.
Anyway, than you again for the prompt reply.
