I lived in three domiciles in 2021. One for one month, one for five months and one with no state tax for six months. I am unsure how to add the dates of residence since none of them were for the full year and my current state has no state income tax.

You don't "add a third state".
In the personal info section, of TurboTax (TT), you indicate your current address, in SD. You then indicate that you previously lived in MD. There is no where to tell TT that you lived in MI. But, you do tell TT that you made money in MI (if you had income for that period). That will generate MD & MI software. Any additional info needed will be covered in the state interviews (you can indicate that you were a part year MI resident).
What are the states? The TurboTax interview varies, depending on the state. A workaround may be needed for your situation.
You file as a part year resident for the first 2 states, paying tax to those states on the income you received while a resident.
In order of residency, the 1-month state is Michigan, the 5-month state is Maryland, and the 6-month state is South Dakota, which does not have a state income tax. I understand that I pay the tax in the first two states; this is not my first multi-state year. It is, however, the first time I have had three states in one tax year, the longest being a state without an income tax.
I am a civilian federal annuitant and each state taxes my federal benefits differently, so my 1040 needs to be accurate as I enter data. My question was how to add the third state, the one without a state income tax. I couldn't find a way.

I doubt you can add South Dakota since that state is not even available as an option in TurboTax.
