How can I e-file my amended California tax return on TurboTax online?

Hello:

I amended my 2021 California return in my turbotaxonline. There is a difference of ten dollars that I now owe the state. Howveer, I am only getting the option to print the return and mail it in with a check. That I cannot do for two reasons: 1) I am currently living outside the the USA, and 2) I do not have a checking account. Thus I want to eFile the amended return just as I did with the original return, and pay electronically. But despite the online help clearly stating that California allows efiling of amended returns, turbotaxonline is not giving me this option.

What should I do?

To amend your return, please follow the instructions here. 

Please note, Turbo Tax does not support e-filing an amended return.
