I just need confirmation that my taxes were actually filed. How do I get that info?

If you e-filed, TurboTax will send you an e-mail confirmation that they are either accepted or rejected.  If you filed by mail, to an extent you are at the mercy of the US Postal system and the IRS receipt/processing system.

they sent a conformation email for my order is what it says....but i cant find anything that says it was sent.

You will need to log into your TurboTax account to determine the status of your income tax returns.
