I used TurboTax to file my tax return as resident alien, and i got standard deduction/exemption for my state tax returns (Missouri and Kansas).
I'm wondering if resident alien can claim these deductions for state tax return as same as U.S citizen?

If you are a resident alien for tax purposes, you are treated the same way as a US citizen or resident.
You can claim the same deductions allowed to U.S. citizens if you are a resident alien for the entire tax year.
Please read this IRS document for more information.
Thanks for your information. Does this rule work for state tax return as well?
Yes, you enter all of your information on your federal return, and TurboTax will transfer everything to your state returns. Each state has different deductions and exemptions, but you will qualify for the same deductions and exemptions as a US citizen residing in the state.
