There appears to be a bug in the California information worksheet. The state checker says there's an error, I have to answer Yes or No to the question "Is your address above the same as your principal/physical residence address?" When I try to check either "Yes" or "No", I see it flash briefly for a second before it unchecks itself again. Then when I try to file, it says there's an error, and it brings up this checkbox again. I tried entering all the information again in a new file and still have this problem.

Same problem here. It worked when I did my taxes a couple weeks ago, but we're now doing my son's and we have the same problem. Perhaps an issue with an update? We have Premier download edition.
Same problem here for my son's taxes using IRS FreeFile delivered by TT. Issue still occurring as of March 3, 2021.
After I updated TurboTax (desktop) with the CA updates released on 3/4, the issue was resolved and I was able to check the principal residence box.
