For some reason my NJ taxes keeps getting rejected due to "647 - NJ-1040/NR E-check amount does not match total amount due." I have no idea why i keep getting the non resident error when I've been in NJ the whole year. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

also when i am at the end and Turbo Tax reviews everything, there is no error that occurs.
Do you have a balance due? Did you set up an electronic payment? Go back to your New Jersey return and make sure that the payment amount you set up and the balance due on the return match. If you correct this, try submitting your return again.
If the reject continues, you may want to file this return via U.S. Mail. To file your state return, print it and mail to the appropriate taxing authority.
Yes I owe and I made sure that all my banking information was correct. I will have to check again if there is a spot for the amount that’s due.
I am just confused why I’m getting a non resident error when I didn’t fill out or have any out of state tax’s/income
Go to your State Taxes tab for NJ and check this screen to verify you are filing as a NJ non-resident.
so when I get to the screen on my NJ 1040 it says that I have a refund but on the top of the screen where it shows your federal and State refund/what you owe, it says that i owe... and i think that's why it keeps getting rejected
