Picked for manual review again?

Has anyone been picked for a manual review several times in a row? This is my third year and once again, the estimated completion date is 5/21. I filed 1/30/2020.....

what do you do for a living? certain occupations and high-income individuals are more likely to be audited. this can also occur if there are repeated losses on a business. the IRS is looking into whether it's a hobby. also if certain expenses are out of whack with what would be expected. certain other things can trigger a review but the IRS will not tell the reason.
