Not sure. I left TurboTax - they charge too much and had issues like these. I used Free Tax USA to file my federal (used Turbo to check and both showed same exact refund) but Turbo Tax was charging me like $100 and Free Tax USA was free. Then I used mypath.pa.gov to file my PA taxes for free. Got both refunds already this year in my account. And they were easy.

Yes, the original 2022 TurboTax software issue was resolved once the update was released. There's no current indication that the problem still persists.

I’m sorry but i mistook this thread for the 2026 turbo tax software glitch that’s preventing me from filing my Pennsylvania return

do u know if that’s been fixed? I can’t get my stock sales to transfer from fed to pa..it’s a known glitch. Thanks

TurboTax transfers data from your federal return to your state return. Before you begin troubleshooting your state return, go back through your federal return and make sure everything is correct.

 

After you review your federal return, select the State Taxes tab and review the state section. Pay close attention to the information, especially if you have made changes to your federal return. There might be new sections that need to be completed. 

Troubleshooting common federal to state transfer issues

 

If your problem continues, you can try the following:

Go out of your program and go back in.
Clear your cache and cookies.
Try a different Web Browser.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates".

Thank you, I will try again but I’ve contacted turbo tax and this is a glitch acknowledged by CS effecting those who have Pennsylvania returns…I use the online software and have cleared cache and cookies…I was told I would get an email when it was resolved but haven’t yet ( 10 days ago)
