On line TurboTax Premier 2020 will not run CA Sate Tax Return process before Transfer from Federal return.. CA is the state

I'm trying to understand.  Have you completed the Federal forms and the program won't transfer the data to the State form or what????  I'm beyond irritated with Turbo Tax's lack of TECHINCAL support.
