Turbotax won't allow me to enter 0 for the Ohio sales/use tax entry in Part VI of the Information Worksheet. I'm working on taxes for my son, whose primary residence is in Ohio, but he has been in Alaska in the military, and has not purchased anything in Ohio. I can't figure out what I did to get this flagged when turbotax did the state review, or how to move forward, unless I enter a value other than 0.

In the error check, try to "erase" the 0 and leave the entry <blank>. Le me know if this works. @CaroJoyce
The best way to resolve this is to go back to the Ohio tax return and look for the screen below. Select No then try to run the error check again.
You need to pay the sales tax you didn't pay if you bought something without tax. Ohio requires that you pay 6.5-8% sales tax on everything you buy. The exact tax rate changes from county to county.
Example:
Alexis lives in Akron and bought a bicycle on the Internet from a company in Pennsylvania for $100. She did not pay any sales tax on it. She will need to pay Ohio a $6.75 tax for the bicycle because the sales tax in Summit County is 6.75%.
Thanks. I did find that screen and selected no (it was already highlighted that way). I ran the review again, and it is still flagged. I tried again- even saving and closing/reopening the program, and have the same result. Any other suggestions?
