NYS Federal Adjustments

So I moved from NY to MO on 5/1/25. I still work for the same employer but remotely, and I've never filed part-time returns before. It's currently asking me to Allocate City Income and Federal Adjustments to Income. I know the Yonkers portion will be blank, but not sure about how to figure out the Federal Amount or New York City Resident Portion. I did live in Queens.

Thanks!

NYS Federal Adjustments

You can allocate the amounts based on time so (7/12th of the total to New York and 5/12th to Missouri) if you are paid equally throughout the year.  You may also be able to determine the state wages by using the Box 16 state wages for Missouri, then the remainder for New York (you cannot use the New York state wages because it should be the same as your Box 1 wages.)

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm still unsure what I'd be putting in the New York City Resident Portion. The Wages and Tips is already prefilled. Is it at all possible to share my token so you can see what I'm looking at? [1356357804822522923287573 Token restored]

Yes, you can use the $16,223.39 amount as listed on the W2 for your NYC/Queens city tax.  @pBukewicz
