Using TurboTax online I'm presented with a hard stop to Check This Entry: "IT-196: _Your return has a mortgage interest adjustment which will require an update in order to ensure the calculations are correct. To receive an update, select Check for Updates from the online menu to connect to our website."
I'm already online, and I can't locate any menu with the option to check for updates.

I'm having the same exact problem.
There has already been an update since I received this message but nothing changed as far as being able to file. From reading the forums, it appears to be a problem in other states, such as CA, as well.
I can bypass this by NOT including my HELOC in addition to my mortgage, but then I'm losing out on a few hundred dollars in my refund. This is not a good solution.
This issue is currently being looked into. We will post a update as soon as it is available.
Any update on this issues?
Hello @Cass0317 : It's been 4 days since your last reply.
I've already paid TurboTax, but now am unable to file.
Please update with a possible time to fix and/or also directions on how to e.file federal and put a hold on e.filing state.
If neither are possible, please provide instructions on how to cancel my payment to TurboTax so that I can find another provider to e.file through.
