New 2024 MA Form 1 -Bank Interest

First run of 2024 MA taxes and I'm finding the new form includes MA interest twice. First on Form 1, line 5 then Schedule B carried to Form 1 line 20. Both are taxed at 5% effectively taxing bank interest twice.

Take a look at your schedule B.

• Part 1 brings over line 5 of Form 1 MA bank interest
• Part 1 line 9 includes your MA bank interest
• Line 31 subtracts interest and dividends.
• Sch B line 38 goes to Form 1 line 20

You may be able to delete the MA bank interest, clear cache and cookies, and try again. If you still have issues, what are you seeing on Sch B? Which parts, what line numbers?
