The Railroad Retirement Benefit and the Retirement Income Exclusion under "Here's What Georgia Handles Differently" both prepopulated with amounts but they don't match anything on my husband's SSA-1099 so I'm not sure where they came from or if I should leave them there. Were they calculated for us by Turbo Tax? My husband has no income except his Social Security and is 67 years old. I am still working.

The misnomer Railroad Retirements Benefits is the taxable portion of the Social Security benefits that are reported on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 6b
The Retirement Income Exclusion is probably your Georgia Earned Income Exclusion of $4,000 if you are age 62 or older plus any taxable interest and dividends and capital gains
Thank you so much! That helps.
