Can I file my NC state taxes yet ? Never received an email saying it is OK

Yes. All North Carolina tax forms show as available. If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you'll want to make sure your software is updated.

ANNNND...if you prepared your NC tax return before the 24 Feb update.

Then, you need to go thru the NC tax questions again, to make sure your Charitable Contribution Carryover $$ are zero'ed out   (unless you know you contributed a HUGE amount to Charity last year...like over 60% of AGI as cash, 50% of AGI as items, or 30% of AGI as appreciated properties/stocks/securities).

NC tax forms started after 24 Feb don't have this issue, but any NC files started before 24 Feb will still have improper Charity Carryover values.
