Michigan Tax

I retired on 31 July 2020.  The block on the Michigan tax return shows me retired as of 1 Jan 2013. I was retired from the military then but was still working full-time.  How do I get that box unchecked.  Also, the income exclusions for Michigan exceeded my total income for the year.  What did I miss.

  • Scroll down to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) and Review.
