Michigan 529 tax deduction
Michigan allows for a 529 tax deduction in 2018. I am unable to locate where to enter this option

Michigan 529 tax deduction
529 plan contributions made are entered in the Income section of the Michigan tax return, as they are deducted from the federal income reported on your Michigan return.
Below are the steps to enter the 529 plan contributions in TurboTax:
When you are in your Michigan tax return, you will eventually be brought to a screen that is titled "Here is the Income that Michigan Handles Differently" and scrolling down you will see a line for "Contribution to Michigan Education Savings Program." See the sample screenshot attached. Select this option and you will be able to enter the amount of your 529 plan contributions on the next screen. See sample screenshot attached.
