maryland tax owed jumps when income exceeds federal std deduction

Filing single 2023 return, Live in Baltimore County.   When box 1= $13840, no taxes are owed to Maryland.  When box 1= $13860, then $884 taxes owed to Maryland.  That does not seem correct to earn $20 more income but owe $884 more in taxes.

Many things have been corrected in the latest updates to TurboTax. Are you still experiencing this problem?
