Maine Worksheet A Error

I'm getting a "Check This Entry" error on my Maine return. TurboTax desktop wants me to provide an explanatory statement for Worksheet A. I did, but this hasn't fixed it.

I suspect it has to do with my filing status as statutory resident of Maine. My domicile is in Rhode Island. Worksheet A is 'Residency Information Worksheet for Part-Year Residents/Non-Residents/"Safe Harbor" Residents". TurboTax is using this form although I am filing as none of those, rather, as a resident.

The "Check This Entry" error asks me to complete an Explanatory Statement - "...explain what the taxpayer intends to use the property owned in Maine for, and how often it will be used and for what purpose to qualify for electronic filing". I have inserted text there but TurboTax continues to flag that error and won't let me complete the filing.

Any ideas about how I can get past this? Thanks.

Yes, you will want to go back to the Maine section of TurboTax and look for

We've Recommended a Maine Residency Status.  You can indicate Full-Year Resident.  After you make that change, go straight to the review.  IF the error continues, you will have to Delete the Form  (See How do I view and delete forms in TurboTax Online?)

Safe Harbor - You are domiciled in Maine but may be treated as a nonresident individual if you satisfy all three of the following requirements:
- You did not maintain a permanent place of abode in Maine for the entire taxable year;
- You maintained a permanent place of abode outside of Maine for the entire taxable year;
- You spent no more than 30 days in Maine during the taxable year.

Thanks, MaryK. I have a desktop version, but did see how to delete the forms. I think I'm on my way. It sure helps when generous people like you take the time to help the needy like me.
