Says everything is good but keeps taking me back to fix errors The errors are my company name and State ID number which are correct. What do i do

Please log completely out of TurboTax, then try clearing out your browser's cache stored on your computer. A full or corrupted cache can keep TurboTax from functioning properly. The issue is that it looks like LAST YEAR the taxes were filed using the wrong NJ-10 digit number (which was the wrong one) so not sure how i would change that or amend that. It seems like that is why it is not letting me file bc it is under a different ID number. I will try the cache thing first but right now it is not letting me file anything I jsut wrote to NJ and we will see what they say since they ONLY accept e-files.
I don't think it is my cache that is the problem it is the fact that the taxes were filed under the WRONG State ID number last year and turbo tax will not let me file the NEW taxes with the proper State ID.
It also does not bring up my last year taxes which I thought Turbo Tax saved in the system I have a save PDF but Turbo tax will not allow it to be brought up into the system
Not sure what I can do I am afraid to clear the cache and losing more information that is saved on my computer
Please clarify for us: is this error happening in the Review or is it happening when you try to e-file? That is, is NJ giving you a reject on the return, and the reject points to the state ID on the W-2 in box 15?
How do you know that you filed using the wrong state ID last year? Did you get a letter from the state?
You are right that you can't import the 2021 PDF into 2022 TurboTax, but I congratulate you on keeping a copy of the PDF (everyone should do that).
Are you working for the same employer in 2022 as in 2021? Have you tried looking up the Employer’s state ID number in box 15 on your W-2 in the PDF for your 2021 return and using that number in 2022?
