IL state returns. I am married filing jointly. The question comes up "Did I file an IL return last year". Yes I did. Then it asks if my wife filed? Not sure.

My wife doesn't work, so not sure if I answer yes or no. She has no AGI to enter.

If you filed a joint return for 2020 then yes your spouse filed. Both of your names were on the return---so she filed. When you file a joint return the AGI is the same amount for each spouse regardless of who earned what.
