If my state tax return from wisconsin says “processing” what does it mean? Also, the said that they sent a letter of authentication. There’s none on my mailbox!

Processing means they are still reviewing your return. You may want to contact the state again if it has been longer than the expected time to receive your letter of authentication.

If they sent you a letter it would come in the regular post office mail not your email. So it might take a while to get it.
