My spouse and I live in MA. She works in MA, but I work in RI.
I get that I have to pay RI tax since I worked there. There is an offset in MA. But in Turbo Tax, it looks like it is also counting my wife's income as taxable in RI. This doesn't make any sense to me. Am I missing something?

When you start your State returns, you need to add the State of Rhode Island Return first and then add your State of Massachusetts return next. This will trigger TurboTax to ask the right questions in order for your income to populate the correct return. You may want to delete your state returns and add the State of Rhode Island first, completing it completely before adding your State of Massachusetts Return.
