I moved from AZ to MA in 2017, and have capital loss to carryover that was split reported in AZ and MA based on transaction date. Can I only carryover the MA portion?

Is there a way I can use the capital loss occurred in AZ to offset 2018 gains in MA?

If you have a Carryover Capital Loss in your Federal return for 2018, you can report the same amount on your Massachusetts state return, since you were a full-year resident of Massachusetts for 2018.
