I lived in California all of 2024 and worked out of California. I never became an official resident of California however, how would that work when it comes to taxes?

Not sure what you think becoming an "official" resident of CA means---but if you lived and worked in CA all year, you need to file a CA tax return. What state do you think you were an "official" resident of----and why?
