I have the wrong state listed on my 1099-R. The one listed on it doesn't withhold taxes, but the state I'm filing in does.

If I enter all the correct information in my filing materials, will Turbotax automatically withhold/tax the correct amount if I file in the other state for 100% of the year? How can I check that it has calculated correctly on my form and materials before submitting?

You do not change anything that is listed on your 1099R.  You enter it exactly as it appears.   The software will calculate your federal and/or state tax refund or tax due based on the tax laws of your state.   Some states tax retirement income and some do not.   Enter your 1099R in the federal software and the information will flow to the state return that you are preparing.

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

If your 1099R has the wrong state withholding on it or you want to change it you need to contact the plan and have them change the state going forward.  Nothing you can do about it for 2024.

And....once you are entering a tax document onto your tax return, you are beyond "withholding" any tax.    It seems like you are saying nothing was withheld for the state from which the 1099R was issued.   And you live in a different state.  The state you live in is the one you pay tax to.  If you want the retirement plan to withhold tax for your state for 2025 you will need to arrange that with the financial institution that manages the retirement account.
