I am not being prompted to enter money put into 529 plan for New York State taxes. How do I find this?

Please follow the steps below to enter 529 Contribution for the state of New York:

1. Click on Tax Home from Left Side Menu.
2. Click on States Taxes from the main screen. You should then see the New York Return. Click on Continue and answer all the questions proceed ahead.
3. You should then see a page titled "Changes to Federal Income". On this page, there will be a section for Education Adjustment and there will be an option for New York 529 College Savings Account Activity. Click on Start/Update next to it and enter the contributions made.
