How do i enter the date i became a resident of the state of oregon (08/30/1999) when it states that it cannot be before 01/01/2017?

If you are being asked to enter your dates of residency due to living in more than one state, the program is only concerned with determining where you lived during the tax year.  Even though you have been a resident of Oregon for many years, you will need to enter 01/01/2017 as the beginning date if that is where you lived on January 1st of the tax year.
