Hi, do you also support tax filing for U.S non-residents(1040NR),

Last year I filed my tax return from turbo tax but now I knew that I should file it little differently as tax filing is different for us citizens and non-resident alien. Please help and let us know if you support tax filing for us non-resident alien also. If not then I might need to consult a lawyer for my tax filing this year.

While TurboTax can complete most any tax type of tax return for US citizens and resident aliens, you are correct that at the present time we do not support the nonresident Form 1040NR series of tax returns.

However, TurboTax has partnered with a company called "Sprintax.com" to offer nonresident tax preparation services.  They can certainly help you with filing a Form 1040NR; and we think you will be pleased with their services.  If you decide to go with them, you won't need to find a specialized tax lawyer or accountant.  They are a cost-effective way to take care of your nonresident tax compliance needs.
