Hello, I used Turbo Tax for 2023 filing for federal, NJ, and NY. Somehow I cannot find my NJ 1040 return report for 2023. How to request the NJ1040 report for 2023?

Both the NY and NJ tax returns should be in the PDF download if you used the TurboTax online editions to complete the state tax returns.  They would be located directly below the federal tax return forms, schedules and worksheets when viewing the PDF.

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2024 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

If you filed a NJ return in TurboTax, it would be in your 2023 tax documents

If you want to request a NJ transcript, you must complete Form DCC-1. You can either mail your request or go to an in-person Regional Information Center. If mailing your request, allow 30 business days for a response.
