What is your question? There is no SDI deduction in New Jersey for 2023. SDI should not be shown in box 14, or it should be shown as zero. If the employer erroneously deducted SDI from your pay, you should get a refund of the erroneous deduction from the employer.
do you just 0 out number and efile? i have same issue.
Yes, you can zero it out. The way to do it most effective is to use the delete key when you are in the field. If necessary also you can follow the steps next. Also check with your employer to see if a refund should be received for this amount per rjs.

Watch to be sure you are selecting 'all time' as example. Do not use selections like 'last hour' for those browsers that give you options.
Once this is complete open your return and see if the error is gone.
do i remove that line when entering the W2 information or just keep it and 0 out when the error occurs?
Before you remove the Box 14 entry, check in the W-2 entry section for Box 14, and the drop-down menu under Category next to the amount, to see if you chose New Jersey SDI, or if another category should have been selected such as Family Leave Insurance.
To remove an entry in Box 14 that isn't allowed for New Jersey, remove it in the W-2 entry section so that it doesn't appear as an error upon Review.
