Hello,
When logging into Intuit from my business tax return to complete form NYS IT-204-LL, I see a following question. Why does it ask me for 2021 and not 2022? "Did this business have any New York source income, gains, losses, or deductions during 2021?" Thank you very much,
Maciej

Looking at the actual NYS IT-204-LL I have to say I agree that that might be an error, although I cannot say for certain. If you did have any of the items listed for the question I would answer yes and then complete and file. If you answer no then you do not need to file the form and pay the fee.
The latest update for NYS in the TurboTax Business module appears to have corrected your issue. Run updates and test.
Hello,
Thank you for a response. I think I know the reason for that problem. Turbo Tax Business is not on the list of approved software/vendor to file that form, IT-204-LL (according to the New York Department of Taxation and Finance website) It was approved for 2021 and 2020 but not 2022. That means I have to file that form on paper and explain why I am filing it on paper. Why is Turbo Tax Business not approved for 2022 and why is there no information on that? This is puzzling and troubling. What is troubling is that none of the customer service reps are aware of that.

Hello,
I am looking at the form, NYS IT-204-LL, available for filing by mail if vendor is not approved for 2022 and it is asking for information from 2022. It is asking for 2022 info in box 1 - 1 Did this entity have any income, gain, loss, or deduction derived from New York sources during the 2022 tax year?

Ok just got the scoop for you. TurboTax was approved and you will be able to e-file the 204 on the 24th. Please have patience for another 3 days and know we do appreciate your patience.
thank you for the response, it is Feb 27 and TurboTax Business is still not approved to file electronically NYS forms IT-204, IT-204-LL, IT-370-PF for 2022, the deadline to file IT-204-ll form is March 15.

Its the 28th and its still an issue. Can you please provide an update ?
For Windows software, New York Form IT-204 and Form IT-204-LL should be available on March 10, 2023.
Please see this Help Article for information and access to the “tool” that shows the availability of forms, including when they will be “Ready for print” and "Ready for E-file". If a form you need is not listed within the “tool” then that means it is not supported by TurboTax at this time.
thank you for the response, it is concerning that the form IT-204-LL will be available just 5 days before the deadline March 15.
When your state or the IRS have the forms available for publishing they will release them. It is not Turbo Tax that releases forms needed for a return. The date is based on the day specified by the IRS or the state.

Hello,
Thank you. When will 2022 Form IT -204, Partnership Return, be available for e-filing? The deadline to file this form is March 15 2023. The link you provided concerns only personal tax returns. Thank you
Thank you, I am referring to NYS Form It-204,Partnership Return, which is due March 15 2023. I find it hard to believe that NYS would not make this from available just 7 days before the deadline.
It may take longer for one form or another to show up in TurboTax for multiple reasons. Our goal is to provide you with the most accurate information possible. As part of this process, we communicate often with the taxing agencies.
