I believe there is a problem with Turbo Tax. I lived in Virginia from January 1, 2020 to November 21.2020. On that day, Nov. 21, I moved to Maryland. When I work on my taxes Turbo tax does not apportion the tax I should pay to each state but treats it as if I have been a resident of both states all year. How can I correct this situation and allow Turbo Tax to apportion my tax obligation?

I believe you meant to say you lived in Virginia from January 1, 2019 to November 21.2019, and then moved to Maryland. There are screens in each state return section of TurboTax where you allocate your income for that state, if you were a part-year resident. See the screenshot below showing screen where you allocate your Non-Maryland Income:
Yes, I meant I lived in Virginia from Jan. 1, 2019 to Nov. 21, 2019. However, on my Maryland return page I never saw the screen you refer to and no where could I make a change to the Maryland entries. There was a screen in the Virginia state work area to make changes which I did expecting to be able to enter those moneys I received as income as a Maryland resident. There was no such option. I was using Home & Business TurboTax and had no option to make changes on the Maryland screens. I ended up with a CPA. Not happy.
Are you preparing each state tax return as a part year resident? For VA you will use Form 760PY and for MD Form 502. These forms will allow you to enter the time periods you resided in each state. This information will allow TurboTax to apportion your income between the two states and you will not be "doubled Taxed"
I just tried to do what you said and the form still takes all of my Fed AGI and applies it to the five weeks I was a MD resident. I have wasted my money this year with you guys. Paid for an extra state and paid for the program with not a bit to show for it. No matter what I do with MD it still taxes me as if I was there the whole year. Very poor. I found no work around even when I went to the forms themselves I could not change the numbers. So I have now gone to a CPA and will pay her to do the work. You have a flaw in your system and it needs attention.
