I just tried to do what you said and the form still takes all of my Fed AGI and applies it to the five weeks I was a MD resident. I have wasted my money this year with you guys. Paid for an extra state and paid for the program with not a bit to show for it. No matter what I do with MD it still taxes me as if I was there the whole year. Very poor. I found no work around even when I went to the forms themselves I could not change the numbers. So I have now gone to a CPA and will pay her to do the work. You have a flaw in your system and it needs attention.
