Hi,
I noticed that Intuit TurboTax is not listed on the Virginia State site for approved software for electronic filing: (https://www.tax.virginia.gov/tax-preparation-software-products-individuals). I have used TurboTax desktop for this in prior years. Is your software no longer accepted in my state?
Thanks,
Mark

Yes, you can e-file a VA return using TurboTax. Not sure what you are seeing that is confusing you about that.
My concern is that the Virginia state website lists the software that is accepted for e-filing and TurboTax is not on the list:
"
Is there some evidence that supports your assertion that TurboTax is acceptable despite the state implying that it is not?

I am not even going to hazard a guess as to why TT was omitted from the VA site. TT is one of the most dominant providers of tax software in the U.S. and you can use TT to e-file a VA tax return.
I would say YES because the VA state version for 2024 has been downloaded into my TT desktop software! I don't think TT would have released it if wasn't an approved state!
