does buying Premier 2015 include a Virginia state income tax return and an e-filing for it for the $89.95 charge (or whatever it is with taxes etc.?)

Premier includes one free state program, there is a charge of $24.99 to e-file a State return but you can mail it in to avoid that charge. The free program is included when you update your software (Online menu, choose Check for Updates).
If you purchase the software from somewhere other than TurboTax, make sure the package shows it includes a Free State program.
Not all State forms are available yet so you may have to wait until you get your free State. You can keep checking the following website for information on when State forms are available.

Scam said free and then 24.99
Where did it say state efile is free? Screenshot or link?
In the Desktop program you get one free state PROGRAM download to prepare unlimited state returns. Then each state return (including the first one) is $20 to efile, usually goes up to $25 March 1. Or you can print and mail state for free.
Box says Federal Returns & Federal E-File plus State Returns. It does not say state efile is included. It also says on the back of my CD case in the comparison chart....
1 state product via download (print free or efile for $19.99 each) prices subject to change without notice.
And click on 1 state download on Deluxe or above on the Desktop CD/Download page. Then in the pop up box scroll down to the very bottom.
Keep my 70$ and continue your proud word smithing to make you think you get a state file free and then disappoint. Never again. I will never use again as you reply back to me gloating in you word trickery.
You should change your advertising... sounds deceptive to me
My turbo tax premier when filing state tax charged me 25 dollors did not get a free stat file
There is a lot of confusion about this. For the Desktop versions Deluxe and above, it's a free download of one state preparation PROGRAM, not returns filed. You can prepare unlimited federal and unlimited state returns. Some people need to file in more than one state so they have to buy another state program at $45. You can print and mail the state for free or each state return (including the first one) is 20 until March, then goes to 25.

TurboTax indicated a $20 state filing fee. When i went to charge it was $25. Then the application did not credit my billed payment. After 30 minutes on the phone, I was told I should fill out the form, and they would give me a refund. I just got a letter that the refund was denied. What about the $5 difference between what the program stated and what I was billed on the credit card. What about the promise made on the phone? What about my time? When they give an expectation, and then deny it without a link for an appeal, it is upsetting.
As long as I have been employed by Turbo Tax, I know that the state filing fee changes in March from $19.99 to $24.99.
thanks
