Cannot access state tax software

I tried the tool and the 2 different installations methods in the instructions.  It is still stuck in the loop.  It continues to ask to download the state forms.  What else can be done?

You may need to contact support if running the cleaning tool did not clear up your issue.

I have the same issue as of today's date. Bought and paid for state download (business). Says it's downloaded and up to date. Then, I click "Start State" and I am brought back to purchase and download page. I click box for downloading my purchased state program, and it loops me back to screen saying my software is up to date. I've closed program and restarted. I've restarted computer. Impossible to reach live help or get any on-line assist. Is there a glitch? Is there a fix. Corporate taxes due in 18 days. Appreciate any help

Not sure if you're in MD like we are, but the link provided by another member above in page 1 of the chain indicates that MD State business software will not be available till 3-1-24.

Hi Sandy. I am in NE. I can't find that it is not available yet but maybe that is the case. I am running the TTCleanStatestool.zip application provided by Turbotax as others mentioned. It doesn't work either. So, I'm left with waiting until the 1st to see if maybe that is the case in NE or completely uninstalling and reinstalling Turbotax which is the alternative instruction offered by Turbotax on their TTcleanstates app mentioned above. Thanks for your input and happy taxes.

Per this link below, it appears that NE also has a 3/1/24 availability date.

I had to google search but see that is the case for NE as well (3-01-24 availability). Too bad Turbotax can't incorporate a flag to let users know this. People are left to guess and follow their known glitch instructions without any notification or warning from Turbotax that the product is not available - yet they will let you purchase and pay for it.

OK, Today, 3/1/24, Turbo Tax was supposed to release the MD State software. Now, I checked the link after nothing seemed to download today, only to find out it's now scheduled for 3/8/24! This is the 3rd time that the date has been extended yet another week! What is going on at Turbo Tax? MD is one of the only states that doesn't have the software available yet. Corporate returns are due within 1 week of the release date? This is ridiculous! Not a happy camper!

Nebraska released and downloaded today. Would have been nice that the program indicated so in advance - I never thought to search for a table of release dates - I would have avoided several days of worry. Sorry MD - not a good situation I agree. Likely TT will say they were waiting on the state forms, but I don't think that is accurate - states do not release forms a week before taxes are due - people wouldn't stand for it.

Today is Mar 24 and I am filing for 23. I have the same Fxxxing problem. wasted me a lot of time. talked to their rep totally useless.

Try this: State install/e-file update loop: State not installed after installation or TurboTax needs to update...

Rep tried this method and it did not work. They ran out of ideas and just hanged up and never called back. Returning this crap right now. To be honest, your only hope is to fire the project lead and get someone more competent.
