CA tax payment

I finished my taxes, and file electronically and it was accepted by CA.

I had to make a payment to CA. I did it directly from my checking account, but the payment did not work.

I had the same problem with my Federal payment, but I got an email from them saying the direct withdraw from my checking account did not work, and they showed me how to pay it on my check card with I did and got confirmation from them that it was paid.

What do I do about the state CA? I have received nothing from them. How do I proceed?

The state will eventually send you a notice but in the mean time you can pay directly online ...   https://www.ftb.ca.gov/pay/index.html
