CA state filing

Why was my CA state filing not done immediately? It's been finished since Jan. 27th and it still says "pending!"

CA state filing

The state cannot pull the state tax return from the server until the federal tax return has been accepted by the IRS.

The state has their own procedures on when they pull state tax returns from the various servers.
