Ad valorem tax deduction

An Ad Valorem tax deduction can be taken on vehicle registration in the state of Georgia. If only 1/2 of the amount was paid in 2016 and the other half of the tax will be paid in 2017, do I just deduct the 1/2 of the Ad Valorem tax I paid?

Ad valorem tax deduction

Yes. Only deduct the amount that was paid during 2019. The other half can be claimed on next year's tax return.
