We are stuck with the same problem.
It is only Turbo Tax. I contacted friends who used other systems and they are not having that problem. Only customers for Turbo Tax.😡
Are we all getting the same message?
Mine says there is a problem with Charitable Contributions for my California state return. I have re checked and re filled three times, each time Turbo Tax says everything is good, but the state is rejected! I then called Turco Tax for help to correct the problem. I called on two occasions, both times they could not correct the problem.
I checked for any problems that others might be having online and found that this is a problem with California returns for those using Turbo Tax! Now what?
Have you received any response from Turbotax?
Hi My Friends, My California Tax submission was rejected. I can find no reason as to why it was rejected. TurboTax says my return is100% accurate, but............ I know not what to do. Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Uncle Dewey
Did you e-file your federal return? E-filed federal return will need to be accepted before you can e-file your state.
Did you receive an email from the TurboTax?
The rejection code which indicates the reason your return was rejected should be in the email and in TurboTax after selecting Fix my return.
My Federal return was accepted on 03/21 at 4:20pm wile the California was rejected on 03/21 at 5:53pm. The error info was:X0000-020 - Your Federal return does not match the latest published IRS Schema or is not well formed. Thanks, uncle dewey
I just talked to CA Tax Board and they said I didn't have the latest TurboTax software. uncle dewey
I'm reluctant to resubmit since I have the latest version of TurboTax. Uncle Dewey
If your return was rejected, you now have the latest updates, you will want to go ahead and fix the rejection, you may do so by following these steps @Uncle Dewey.
My 2020 California State Income Tax was accepted. 😀😁 Thanks a whole bunch, Uncle Dewey
